knitting… too busy to post…

I’m knitting my fingers off in a doomed attempt to finish something for tomorrow.
In the meantime, rest assured that in the next week we will have posts on a variety of topics, including:
- Maryland Sheep and Wool (tomorrow, after we get back!)
- a ridiculous number of books (Into the Stacks returns!)
- a frustrating morning spent at the Servathon
- the bounty the mail has delivered to me recently
- pictures from the garden
crabby

Despite my earlier post, I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and am having a cranky, crabby day.
I dropped a contact (in our less than stellarly clean bathroom).
I continue to be significantly later to work than I’d like to be.
I went to bed early (!!) last night, but still continue to be tired.
My allergies, after a blessed week-long hiatus, are back.
I snapped at my very nice boss when she tried to make things easier for me.
Does anyone have any cheery things to help change my mood? Anyone? Bueller?

Happy May Day! Blessed Beltane! What better time to post three beautiful things than today?
1. Julia does not have cancer.
2. When I stopped by the garden on Sunday (I waited to go until after the rain, Mia, just for you.), peas and beans were just sending up their first tiny, tender shoots. I can’t wait to see what they’ve done this week with all the lovely rain and sun we’ve had.
3. Wednesday, I had a scoop of Coconut Seven Layer Bar ice cream as part of Free Cone Day and then for supper Rudi made me a coconut curry.
