Three beautiful things from my past week:

1. A bouquet of daffodils (less than $2 from Trader Joe’s):

2. The clerks who work Sundays at the post office next to Union Station are friendly and upbeat.

3. It’s not good for them, because I doubt single digit wind chills invite them to stick around, but I saw these outside the National Museum of American History today:

I adore snowdrops. I’d better start keeping my eyes peeled as the snow is starting to melt here and there!

I got some great postcards in the mail (thanks!) and a free deck of cards from Shutterfly. We’ve been getting lots of birds at our bird feeder. Some of them are types we’ve never seen before. We’ve been having fun trying to identify them.
