We tromped all over the farm hunting for a tree with branches strong enough to hold their heavy ornaments and soft enough not to prick fingers and in the Goldilocks range for size.<\/p>\n<p>Finally we found an interesting one and decided that would be best:<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/spriteshoots\/45330192484\/in\/photostream\/\" title=\"Concolor Fir\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4846\/45330192484_855fcba75e.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" alt=\"Concolor Fir\"><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>This is a concolor fir. The branches seem firmer than most firs, and the needles long but not sharp.
