{"id":5256,"date":"2014-05-03T01:06:14","date_gmt":"2014-05-03T06:06:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spritewrites.net\/?p=5256"},"modified":"2014-05-03T04:07:10","modified_gmt":"2014-05-03T09:07:10","slug":"weekend-to-do-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spritewrites.net\/?p=5256","title":{"rendered":"weekend to-do"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This is one of those lists where you read it and shake your head and think, &#8220;Sprite, there&#8217;s no way you&#8217;re going to get all that done.&#8221; I think so, too, but there&#8217;s no way to find out except to plow forward full-steam and not look up until Sunday night to count the casualties.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend I hope to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finish my Sock Madness Round 3 socks. (This will be particularly challenging when you see the rest of the list.)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Put the rest of the early veggies (like peas) and potatoes in the ground at the garden.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Get to the library to drop off a few books and to pick up one that&#8217;s on hold.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Go to a couple embassies (which ones are still to be decided).<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Attend part of the Funk Parade\/Festival on U Street.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Stop in at the Meet Market.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Get to the farmers market when they first open. (I&#8217;ve seen rumors of strawberries, but I know they won&#8217;t be plentiful if there are any.)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Head up to Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Send off rent and a couple belated birthday cards.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Do a couple loads of laundry.<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Get the rug in the living room to dry (post-flood).<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Deal with at least one bag and one box in the living room (in advance of out-of-town friends visiting next week).<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>Sleep.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>How about you?
