A crowd gathers at Fort Reno, the highest spot in D.C., to watch the sun sink on Sunday. (My parents, Karen, and Rudi all reported gorgeous sunsets that night, as well.)<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/spriteshoots\/55144976806\/in\/dateposted\/\" title=\"Mandarin Pavlova\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55144976806_120a6bca42.jpg\" width=\"375\" height=\"500\" alt=\"Mandarin Pavlova\"\/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>2. On an unseasonably warm Monday, Sarah and I opt to do our job hunting from the rooftop of the main city library, which has been converted to a green public oasis above all the concrete.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/spriteshoots\/55145333850\/in\/photostream\/\" title=\"Mini Daffs at Mitchell Park\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/55145333850_bbcb9f4898_w.jpg\" width=\"400\" height=\"243\" alt=\"Mini Daffs at Mitchell Park\"\/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>3.
