I don’t like peppermint, but I am looking forward to making my own peppermint ice cream this month. (I bought candy canes today to smash up into it.)

(I am a peppermint FIEND. I have heard rumours of peppermint chips – a la choc chips, but peppermint – but have yet to find them, so am trying to figure out how to make peppermint brownies with candy cane pieces. Maybe if I roll the pieces in cocoa before putting them in the batter they won’t all sink to the bottom and form a horrid hard layer down there?)
