Given how well my friends did in the election yesterday, it would seem that I am ill-suited to sway local voters.
Luckily, the vote results also back my theory that when confronted with a large group of unrecognized candidates for relatively unimportant, totally unknown positions, the public will pick the top names.
In the grand scheme of things, don’t you really think we’re all better for getting back to our outsider roots? I know I am. Besides, this will make it more fun to push for greater transparancy within the Democratic Party and to find where the dots all connect to and from developers, politicians, small businesses and those pesky anti-worker folks all over the city.
So, how much of a flame do you think Patrick Mara will go down into against Michael Brown? I think I need to vote for the other guy, um, who is the other guy?
