After giving myself a bye for the first two days this week from writing a post for the work blog, I told myself that I was just going to have to sit at my desk until I came up with something.

At 9:30, I finally hit the publish button. Blech.

I’m off to bed, but just a quick note to say I’m still alive. This evening, I tackled some random bags of paper (we’re a stacking household and when company is imminent, we have a bad habit of stashing stacks of paper in bags in the bedroom) that seem to have been from 2006 and 2007. You’ll be relieved to hear that while I pulled out the odd greeting card or knitting pattern, generally most of what we encountered went into the recycling bin or the shredder.

We have been very good in not re-introducing mess into the bedroom since we emptied it last month for the rat purging. My goal is to finish going through the rest of the piles in the next ten days in time to be ready for Pi(e) Day on the 14th. I’ll be sorely disappointed if I have to hide things in the bedroom like usual.
